Di Naija music icon Tiwa Savage don open up about how she dey see trust for inside romantic relationship as she dey talk say cheating neva be beta reason for am to take end relationship.

During one candid interview for The Receipts Podcast, di 44-year-old singer com talk say every man wey she don dey romantically involve with don cheat on am, but she go always like to forgive.

“I don dey cheated on before. I find out and forgive every time,” Savage talk.

“Every man wey I don eva dey with don cheat, and I neva leave dem because of dat.”

“I don leave for any other reasons, but no be because dem dey cheat. Cheating no be my hill.”

Savage, however, com really dey talk say disrespect na her ultimate deal-breaker.

She com explain say di lies wey dey around Cheating, especially wen odas dey aware of di betrayal, don cause her pain.

“Wetin dey pain pass na di lies about am though. Maybe oda pipo don sabi say him dey lie and then me neva sabi, dat kind thing dey make pesin to feel stupid about am.”

“Or dem even don sabi for long time or if him dey close to home.”

“Di disrespect of am na why I fit leave, but di actual act of am? I neva leave man because of am,” she talk.

Di award-winning singer com talk say her di reasons why she dey end relationships don dey plenty, as she mention drug abuse, emotional neglect, ghosting, financial issues, and emotional abuse.

“I don leave relationship for so many oda reasons like drug abuse or emotional abuse or being emotionally abused, being ghosted, stealing, and financial things. But dat cheating thing, nah,” Tiwa Savage add.

Di project get six tracks and e dey supported by di singles “All Over” and “Ma Lo”. R.E.D and Sugarcane, di two don bin dey nominated for di Best Album for di Naija Entertainment Awards.

For November 2018, Savage win Best African Act for di 2018 MTV Europe Music Awards.

Na here she com be di first woman to win dis kind category.

For May 2019, she com announce her record deal with Universal Music Group and she com comot for Mavin Records.

Savage third studio album Celia, wey she release for August 2020, bring di singles “Attention”, “Dangerous Love”, “Koroba”, and “Temptation”.

Her second extended play Water & Garri, wey blend Afrobeat with soulful R&B, wey she release for 20 August 2021.

For March 2022, Savage announce di Water & Garri North American Tour for di support of di EP.

For July 2022, she com receive one honorary degree from di University of Kent during one graduation ceremony for Canterbury Cathedral.
