Manchester United has confirmed its squad for the FA Cup third-round clash with Arsenal, with the team having traveled to London on Saturday in preparation for the match.

Once again, Marcus Rashford was not seen with the rest of the players as they made their way to London, sparking concerns about his fitness for the upcoming fixture.

Despite this, manager Ruben Amorim had earlier suggested that the 27-year-old forward would be available for selection.

According to Diaspora digital media (DDM) report, Rashford had missed the previous match against Liverpool, a 2-2 draw in the Premier League, due to illness, and it remains uncertain whether he will feature against Arsenal.

However, Rashford’s absence from the traveling squad on Saturday confirmed that he is unlikely to play in this round of the FA Cup.

Despite his absence, Amorim has assembled a strong squad to face the Gunners, as he looks for a much-needed victory to end a winless streak of four matches.

Goalkeeper Altay Bayindir is set to start in goal ahead of Andre Onana, with Bayindir looking to secure his spot in the first team.

In terms of outfield players, young midfielder Toby Collyer has been included in the squad, although Amorim is expected to make minimal changes to the lineup that has been struggling to find form in recent weeks.

The confirmed members of Manchester United’s squad for the FA Cup tie include goalkeepers Onana, Bayindir, and Heaton, with a defensive lineup featuring Dalot, Mazraoui, De Ligt, Yoro, Maguire, Martinez, and Malacia.

The midfield options consist of Mainoo, Ugarte, Casemiro, Collyer, Fernandes, and Eriksen, while the attacking options include Antony, Garnacho, Zirkzee, Hojlund, and Amad.

With United aiming to bounce back from recent disappointing results, Amorim will be hoping that his squad can deliver a performance that will get them back to winning ways.

Arsenal, as always, will present a tough challenge, but United’s depth in both attack and defense gives them a solid chance to progress in the competition.

The absence of Rashford will undoubtedly be felt, but with a squad full of talented players, Manchester United will still be confident of putting in a competitive performance.
