Sky Sports reports that Al-Nassr is making significant strides in their transfer pursuit of Manchester United’s Brazilian midfielder, Casemiro, despite the challenges posed by his substantial wage demands.

Diaspora digital media (DDM) gathered that the Saudi Arabian club’s interest in the player has been influenced by Cristiano Ronaldo, who previously played alongside Casemiro at both Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Ronaldo, now at Al-Nassr, is said to be pushing the club to finalize the transfer of his former teammate, as both share a successful history together at their previous clubs.

Casemiro, who is 32 years old, has found himself on the outskirts of Manchester United’s starting lineup under manager Ruben Amorim.

His lack of consistent playing time has led to growing speculation about a potential transfer, with Al-Nassr emerging as a strong candidate for his next destination.

While earlier reports suggested that Al-Nassr had cooled due to Casemiro’s high salary expectations, recent updates indicate that the Saudi club has not fully abandoned the idea of signing him.

Journalist Sam C has revealed that Al-Nassr is still considering the transfer of Casemiro, though their primary focus remains on securing an attacking midfielder.

Despite these priorities, the club has reportedly not ruled out the possibility of completing the transfer.

Al-Nassr is prepared to offer Casemiro a lucrative weekly salary of £650,000, significantly higher than his current earnings.

However, it remains unclear whether the Brazilian midfielder will accept these terms, and talks are ongoing regarding the potential transfer.

Ronaldo’s influence is undoubtedly a crucial element in Al-Nassr’s pursuit.

The two have a strong bond from their time together at Real Madrid and Manchester United, and Ronaldo is reportedly eager to reunite with his former teammate.

This connection is likely to play a vital role in Al-Nassr’s decision-making process as they continue to pursue the transfer.

The situation surrounding the transfer is complicated, as several factors are at play, including Casemiro’s financial demands, Manchester United’s valuation of the player, and Al-Nassr’s other transfer priorities.

Despite these hurdles, Al-Nassr is determined to press ahead with the transfer.

If the negotiations continue to progress, the transfer could be completed in the near future, although the outcome is still uncertain.

If it goes through, it would be another high-profile addition to Al-Nassr’s squad, further strengthening their team and enhancing their competitive stature in both domestic and international competitions.
