JUST IN: Tourists flee as earthquake hits Greece, sparking fears of volcanic eruption, tsunami

There is pandemonium in the Greek island of Santorini as tourists scramble to flee for their lives after series of earthquakes hit the region.

The earthquakes have, in the meantime, sparked fears of volcanic eruption and underwater quakes.

Local authorities currently fear that, besides volcanic eruption, it may even cause tsunami, another great threat.

The earthquakes rattled Greece’s volcanic island of Santorini every few minutes overnight and into Wednesday.

Authorities bolstered emergency plans in case the hundreds of temblors over the past few days are a harbinger of a larger quake to come.
