Moghalu to Anambra electorates: “I will not fail you”
Begins 21 local governments' tour

A Labour Party (LP) aspirant for the fast-approaching November 8, 2025, Anambra State governorship election, Chief George Moghalu has assured people of the state that he will not disappoint them.
Chief Moghalu gave this open commitment Tuesday, at Nzam, a town in Anambra West Local Government Area.
Nzam has boundaries in the North with Inoma Akator; in the east with Mmiata Anam; in the West with the River Niger; and in the South with Umuenwelum Anam.
It was there that Moghalu chose to kickstart Local Government tour of LP Stakeholders and executives in the state.
Addressing the party chiefs, the governorship aspirant lamented the condition of the access roads into the area.
He noted that the road is in a more dilapidated condition than it was in 2012.
According to him, there’s so much to be done in the whole State, especially in Anambra West Council area.
Chief Moghalu also responded to the issues raised by the stakeholders as it affects their area.
He lamented that nobody has ever filled visitors form to see him in any office he had ever occupied.

Anambra West—the agriculture base of the state
Announcing out his phone publicly to all, the Labour Party aspirant said he answers all calls and text messages personally.
He admitted that the area remains the agriculture base of the state.
He assured that he would take it to the next level for effective productivity, raw materials and industrialization.
Moghalu noted that Anambra West and other Councils of the state need to be turned to exporters of farm and industrial products.
He stressed that the restoration of palm produce in the East, agriculture (cocoa/rubber) in the South West and groundnut/others in the North will begin from the East for other regions to emulate once he becomes the governor.
The Nnewi-born politician noted that Malaysia nation took palm seeds from Nigeria years ago.
Malaysia, today, has become world’s biggest producer of palm produce, so much that they now produce 39 bye-products from palm trees.
“All these would be reactivated and restored as soon as I become the governor.
“I will not disappoint you,” he reassured.
