Nollywood actress Kate Amaka Henshaw recently shared a powerful message from Peter Gregory Obi, the former Anambra State governor and Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, addressing falsehoods circulating about him.

Nollywood, the vibrant and bustling film industry based in Nigeria, has become renowned for its distinctive storytelling and rapid production pace.

Carving out a reputation for itself as one of the largest film industries in the world in terms of volume, it captivates audiences with compelling narratives and a unique cultural perspective.

Known for its drama, comedy, and action films, Nollywood reflects the rich tapestry of Nigerian culture and social issues, offering viewers a glimpse into the country’s diverse heritage through its array of vivid characters and engaging plots.

According to Diaspora digital media (DDM) Peter Obi’s original statement, posted on his official page, pointed out that the biggest “business” in Nigeria today is talking about him.

This comment came amid rumors that he visited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Rome to discuss issues related to Fidelity Bank, claims Obi has neither confirmed nor acknowledged.

Kate Henshaw reposted Obi’s message with a heartfelt note:

“To those peddling these falsehoods and engaging in blackmail, I offer a simple prayer:

“May God grant you the virtues of gratitude and understanding to know that we came here with nothing and will go with nothing.”

The post sparked a wave of reactions across social media, with many users weighing in with their opinions, some defending Obi’s integrity, others criticizing those spreading the rumors.
