A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Otunba Olayemi Adeniyi, paid a condolence visit Friday.

The visit was to commiserate with Senator Smart Adeyemi following the death of his beloved mother, Princess Victoria Oyeyemi Adeyemi Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) reports.

Princess Victoria passed away peacefully on Wednesday in Abuja, leaving behind a legacy of faith, discipline, and community service.

Her passing has been described as a deep personal loss to her family and a void in the community.

Otunba Olayemi expressed heartfelt sorrow over the death of the matriarch, describing her as a woman of rare virtues.

He urged Senator Adeyemi to see death as a natural passage every soul must make at life’s appointed time.

“Though painful,” he said, “death is a necessary end and a divine call we must all answer one day.”

The APC chieftain encouraged the senator to take solace in the impactful life his mother lived before her transition.

He emphasized that Princess Victoria’s legacy would outlive her through the lives she touched and the values she upheld.

“She was a woman of great character, committed, prayerful, and deeply passionate about family and faith,” Otunba Olayemi remarked.

He noted that although she is gone, her example of godliness and selfless service will continue to inspire future generations.

Otunba Olayemi praised her parenting, especially as reflected in Senator Adeyemi’s achievements and dedication to public service.

He reminded the senator that her sacrifices and teachings have already borne fruit evident in her children’s lives

“Your mother’s discipline, compassion, and wisdom helped shape your path and your contributions to our nation,” he said.

“She left footprints of love, wisdom, and spiritual strength in every life she touched,” he said with reverence.

Otunba Olayemi prayed for God’s comfort upon the family and strength to bear the irreparable loss with faith and grace.

He described her passing as heaven’s gain, encouraging the family to lean on God during this time of mourning.

“Mama’s life was a testimony of purpose, faith, and service,” he concluded during his condolence message to the family.

Final burial arrangements are expected to be announced by the family in the coming days.

Her memory, no doubt, will remain etched in the hearts of all who encountered her love and grace.
