Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has strongly warned radio stations against airing inciteful comments, emphasizing the need for responsible broadcasting. Specifically, he criticized stations for permitting libelous and seditious remarks while denying victims the right to reply. Furthermore, he stressed that adherence to broadcasting codes is essential for maintaining ethical journalism.
In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, the Governor condemned the unchecked spread of harmful content.
