Iran busts alleged Mossad-linked drone factory in Tehran

Iranian officials revealed they dismantled a suspected drone factory tied to Israel’s Mossad agency. According to IRNA and ARY News, authorities arrested two individuals accused of aiding Mossad. The operation targeted alleged collaborators in Tehran and Alborz provinces.

Police spokesperson Sa’eed Montazer al-Mahdi confirmed the arrests occurred in Fashafuyeh, south of Tehran. Security forces seized over 200 kilograms of explosives and drone parts during raids. Additionally, they confiscated launchers, technical gear, and a Nissan pickup truck used for transport.

Iran claims Mossad agents conducted sabotage using explosive-laden drone. These attacks reportedly aimed at vital infrastructure and military sites. The bust follows heightened tensions after Israeli airstrikes hit Tehran on June 13.

In retaliation, Iran launched missiles and drones at Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv and Haifa. Many Israelis now shelter in bunkers amid ongoing strikes. Both nations continue exchanging attacks, worsening regional instability.

Authorities have not released further details on the detained suspects. Investigations remain active as Iran vows to counter alleged espionage. The conflict shows no signs of de-escalation, keeping civilians on edge.
