Shocking video of brutally murdered civilians in Enugu State have gone viral across social media platforms, drawing widespread public outrage and casting doubts on official government narratives about the region’s safety.

The video, which show the bloodied bodies of numerous victims, were reportedly taken in communities such as Eha-Amufu and Uzo Uwani, areas long plagued by violent clashes suspected to involve armed herdsmen.

Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) reports that these disturbing visuals directly contradict repeated assurances by the Enugu State Government that peace and security have been restored in the region.

Governor Peter Mbah has repeatedly maintained that reports of killings in Eha-Amufu and Uzo Uwani are exaggerated, fabricated, or politically motivated.

He has described them as “fake news” and “propaganda,” and recently insisted that Enugu is one of the safest states in Nigeria.

This declaration has now come under serious scrutiny following the circulation of video footage showing men, women, and children lying lifeless in pools of blood.

Many of the victims appear to have been killed in cold blood, suggesting a deliberate and coordinated attack by the fulani terrorists rather than random violence.

Residents of the affected areas claim that security forces are largely absent from the region, leaving local communities at the mercy of armed groups.

Eyewitnesses allege that the assailants, believed to be Fulani herdsmen, have repeatedly invaded villages, razed homes, and slaughtered defenseless civilians.

Historically, Eha-Amufu and Uzo Uwani have been flashpoints in the ongoing conflict between the terrorists group and innocent people in Southeast Nigeria.

The crisis in these communities dates back several years, with numerous reports of massacres, displacement, and government inaction.
