Prince Eze Madumere, former Deputy Governor of Imo State, has expressed a strong desire to liberate the state’s citizens from poverty, deprivation, and lack.
As a major contender in the 2027 governorship race, Madumere’s ambition is driven by a blueprint tailored to meet the needs of the people.
His vision for Imo State focuses on Poverty Reduction.
Madumere aims to address the widespread poverty in Imo State by implementing policies that promote economic growth and development.
He emphasizes the importance of youth development and mentorship, advocating for youth-inclusive governments and championing youth skills acquisition.
This includes creating youth-friendly financial systems through grants, micro-loans, and public-private investment.
Madumere has also highlighted the need to tackle the issue of over 20 million out-of-school children across the country, stressing the importance of compulsory education and proper planning.
To achieve his vision, Madumere plans to revive Technical Education.
He wants to revive technical education and provide skill sets to youths, enabling them to secure profitable jobs.
Madumere aims to create jobs and stimulate economic growth by building more industries, resuscitating moribund establishments, and encouraging foreign investors.
He also plans to provide soft loans to industrialists and entrepreneurs, supporting them in establishing and growing their businesses.
Madumere’s commitment to public service is evident in his philanthropic efforts.
Recently, he commemorated his 61st birthday by distributing essential items to orphans, the underprivileged, and marginalized members of society in Owerri.
This gesture showcases his compassion and dedication to improving the lives of Imo State citizens .
As a gubernatorial hopeful, Madumere urges Imolites to make informed choices based on capacity, acumen, and dexterity, rather than mediocrity.
He believes that the time has come to lead the people to a brighter future, which he calls “The Journey of Grace”

According to a report, Madumere shared an insight into his ambition to govern the state in 2027 in Owerri recently while addressing newsmen.
He stated that he has already marshalled a blueprint tailored to meet the needs of the people.
He urged the citizenry to anticipate a transformative and promising agenda—”the big beautiful deal”—built on trust and belief in a future anchored on policies for sustainable development, as opposed to empty promises and confusion.
Prince Madumere, a thoroughbred administrator and strategist, asserted that even at 61, he remains fully prepared to restore the hopes and aspirations of the people.
He appealed for calmness and understanding from the citizenry.
Madumere, who also plays the role of a political stabilizer, urged Imolites to make informed choices based on capacity, acumen, and dexterity, rather than mediocrity.
He emphasized that the time has come to lead the people to the promised land through what he called “The Journey of Grace.”
He said, “The time to change the narrative and trajectory is fast approaching. I salute the resourcefulness, courage, and optimism of Imolites.
Together, by His grace and favour, we shall enter the promised land—flowing with milk and honey—as I march forward at 61, under God’s mercy, grace, and protection.”
He added, “Let’s build a future for ourselves and the next generation. Let us approach it with optimism, doggedness, a positive mindset, and unity of purpose, all aimed at creating an egalitarian society where everyone’s needs and aspirations evolve from dreams into reality.” Madumere enthused
