(DDM) – U.S. President Donald Trump has commented on the possibility of pardoning British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year sentence for her role in trafficking underage girls alongside convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) gathered that Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime associate and former romantic partner, remains the only person imprisoned in connection to Epstein’s child sex trafficking network, sparking renewed interest in high-level cover-up allegations.

When asked whether he would use his presidential powers to grant her a pardon or commute her sentence, Trump responded, “I’m allowed to do it, but it’s something I haven’t thought about.”

His statement has raised concerns among observers and political analysts, especially within circles that believe key figures involved in Epstein’s crimes have been shielded from justice.

The White House was quick to deny any formal plans for a pardon.

A senior official stated, “There have been no discussions or consideration of a pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell, and there never will be.”

Meanwhile, Maxwell has entered her second day of meetings with the U.S. Department of Justice.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche reportedly flew to Florida for face-to-face discussions amid public pressure from Trump’s MAGA base demanding full disclosure of what Maxwell knows about Epstein’s operations.

Her attorney, David Markus, confirmed her cooperation, stating, “Miss Maxwell answered every single question. She never stopped.

She never invoked a privilege. She never declined to answer. She answered all the questions truthfully, honestly, and to the best of her ability.”

She was seen returning to prison after Thursday’s session carrying a mysterious box, and she is scheduled to resume questioning Friday.

The development renews global attention on the Epstein scandal and raises fresh questions about justice, influence, and political will in confronting elite-linked crimes.
