Anambra State First Lady, Dr. Nonye Soludo, has clinched the First Lady of the Year (Health-Care & Child Support) award at the 2025 Nigerian Humanitarian Awards & Magazine.

The award came after a nationwide nomination and public voting process, which attracted thousands of entries from citizens and humanitarian observers across Nigeria.

As a result, Dr. Soludo emerged as a leading voice in health-based community service.

The event, organised by the Humanitarian Achievement and Outreach Foundation, seeks to honour leaders who drive compassion, wellness, and impact.

Notably, Dr. Soludo received this award due to her active efforts through the “Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo” initiative.

In a press statement, Emmanuel Anabueze, the award’s founder and convener, praised Dr. Soludo for her humility, leadership, and consistency.

According to him, she received an overwhelming number of votes, proving that her impact resonates nationwide.

Furthermore, he said her dedication to improving family health and wellness had set her apart in a competitive field.

Dr. Soludo will be officially honoured on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja.

There, she will join other outstanding leaders, advocates, and changemakers shaping Nigeria’s humanitarian space.

The 2025 Nigerian Humanitarian Awards aims to celebrate people who move beyond their titles to transform lives.
