The Anambra State Police Command recently announced the recovery of suspected human body parts at a shrine.

A native doctor, who allegedly participated in the brutal murder and mutilation of a pregnant nurse, owns this shrine.

Authorities actively investigate the case to uncover more details about the crime and its underlying motives.

They seek answers that will help clarify the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.

Reports reveal that someone discovered the victim’s body dumped in a soakaway located in Ogbunike.

This area lies within the Oyi Local Government Area, alarming local residents and raising safety concerns.

The police continue to work diligently to gather evidence and identify all individuals involved.

Consequently, the police are intensifying their efforts to gather more evidence and apprehend all suspects involved.

They apprehended a 24-year-old female suspect named Somtochukwu Nwafor, linking her to this horrific crime.

As a result, investigators are working diligently to determine her role and any accomplices in the incident.

Notably, the vigilant Umueri village group played a crucial role in facilitating her arrest within the Ogbunike Community.

During the interrogation, Nwafor confessed that she was the girlfriend of the prime suspect, Chiemerie Obika Elobisi.

Law enforcement officials relentlessly pursue Elobisi, but he actively evades arrest and remains at large despite ongoing efforts.

Acting on this information, SCID officers raided a shrine in Itima Amawa Village, Ogbunike, to investigate these deadly criminal activities.

During the raid, police found suspected human body parts hidden inside cellophane bags, raising serious concerns about ongoing crimes.

As a result, police intensified their efforts to track down Elobisi and other accomplices responsible for this gruesome crime.
