A man simply identified as Reginald has committed suicide amid allegations of infidelity involving his wife.
The unfortunate incident which has left many in shock, occurred in Lawa community in Ogbaku, Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State on Sunday.
Diaspora Digital Media understand that residents woke up to the shocking sight of Reginald’s lifeless body dangling from a tree in the compound of a man known as Ukachukwu, who is alleged to be romantically involved with Reginald’s wife.
A villager who doesn’t want to be quoted said the deceased severally complained about the amorous relationship between his wife and Ukachukwu, but was rebuffed by his wife.
The man narrated: “We woke up this morning to see the dangling body of Reginald in the compound of Ukachukwu. We had seen him complain about his wife and Ukachukwu but nobody knew it would drive him to commit suicide. He has the entire community in confusion because we have not witnessed anything like this in the past”, the source said.
