Academic Excellence: Rights Activist begs Gov Soludo to reward Dr. Stephanie

An Imo State-born human rights activist and author, Comrade Paul Ikechukwu Njoku, has gone emotional, praising Dr. Anumba Udochukwu Stephanie, over her excellent academic performance in the medical school.

The Ikeduru-born civil rights crusader also charged the governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo, to invite the brilliant Stephanie and reward her with state-sponsored scholarship for further studies in any best University of the World.

Our correspondent gathered that a certain Anambra State born Anumba Udochukwu Stephanie was on Thursday, March 6, conferred the best female graduating medical student at the University of Uyo Oath-taking ceremony with 5 distinctions and other remarkable awards to her name.

She bagged:

– Distinction in Laboratory Medicine

– Distinction in Pharmacology

– Distinction in Paediatrics

– Distinction in Community Medicine

– Distinction in Family Medicine

– Best graduating student in Paediatrics

– Best graduating female student

Reacting on her academic performance, Activist Paul wrote:

“I don’t know Dr. Stephanie Anumba Udochukwu neither have I met her in my life. I am driven by her uncommon academc performance which I also desire to reward and encourage her in my personal capacity.

“I celebrate brains; I don’t celebrate nudity in disguise of ‘celebrity’ toga. I recognize and reinforce task performance than the immoral BBNIAJA amongst others.

“I crave for women empowerment and gender equality hence I urge governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State to organize a state-sponsored reception and reward Dr Stephanie who exceeded exceedingly as the overall best female medical student with 5 distinctions and other celebral awards at the famous and prestigious University of Uyo in Akwa Ibom State.

“In otherwords, Anambra State government should as a matter of urgency financially reward her with scholarship for further studies in any best University of the World as a tie of girl-child recognition, motivation and empowerment”.

Comrade Njoku in his emotional but poetic essay further wrote:

“Dr. Stephanie, you are the quintessential daughter of Zion. A mirror of the girl-child.
You are a guaranteed ambassador of classic representation and inspiration of girls’ education and value system. Keep it up, I encourage you. The world will continue to celebrate you. I pray with you.

‘In your eyes, I see utter courage, strength, hardwork and resilience. Tears of joy streamed down my eyes when I watched the video of your several awards as you joyfully stepped forward looking into the camera for the receipt, endorsement and esteemed confirmation of the awards. In the video, I saw and relish the delight in the heart of your parents, siblings, relatives, well-wishers and friends who are statutorily proud of you.

“Unfortunately, you hail from a society that does not reinforce talents, brilliance and women of substance like you but irresponsible porn ‘celebrities’ who negatively impact children and the youth.

“As a symbol of fruitfulness and productiveness, you deserve the best motivation and encouragement to inspire millions of girls around the World.

“Let me re-emphasize that you are blessed with diligence, virtue, knowledge, wisdom, honor, faith, insight, foresight and so much more.

“From the hills of Anambra State and the valleys of Amaobia comes you that make girl-child proud. From the beautiful forest in Awka-South to the lush green fields of University of Uyo comes you that bring joy to Ndigbo and womanhood.

“From the Eastern shores of our nation where stars and Suns shine brightly and from whence comes a rare recognition of women in the polity of things in Nigeria comes you that created the indelible features.

“From the lineage of those who dare to believe that women education ends in the kitchen and from the stock of those who soar like eagles comes you that started the new beginning of excellence.

“Stephanie, I am deeply attracted to you. Your star shall shine from generation to generation. Your strength and confidence shall speak for you all the days of your life. Your talent shall open every door you seek to enter. Your brain shall shake every foundation of humanity and move even the hardest of hearts.
