Ahead the final of the 2023 African Cup of Nations, AFCON, final, fans of the Elephants of Cote d’Ivore have swamped the Allissan Outtara Stadium, Abidjan, venue of the final clash between the country and Nigeria’s Super Eagles, recognisable in their national orange colour.

Football fans place strategic role in football game play in terms of boosting moral support and giving the necessary psychological edge to the home team.
Both teams came through turbulent qualifying stages to get to the final.
Following a jittery start to their campaign, the Super Eagles soared into the final impressively to send signal of being title contenders.
Cotê d’Ivoire made good use of their qualification as one of the third-best-placed teams after a 4-0 defeat to Equatorial Guinea nearly ended their campaign.
Head to head, pundits tip the Nigerian team to win the trophy at the expense of their host.
Nigeria defeated Cote d’Ivore in the qualifying stages by 0-1.
