APC dismisses PDP’s claim of ‘delayed’ payment of December salaries

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has reacted to the Peoples Democratic Party’s recent statement criticizing the President Bola Tinubu-led administration over ‘delayed’ payment of December salaries to Federal Government workers.

In a statement by the National Publicity Secretary of APC, Felix Morka, it claimed that Tinubu’s administration has demonstrated far greater sensitivity and commitment to workers’ welfare in his few months in office than all of PDP’s 16 years in government.

“The rather flimsy statement over attempt to portray the administration as undermining the economic wellbeing of Nigerians failed woefully as the government had since paid every worker his due”, Morka said.

According to him, the present administration has continued to promote qualitative dialogue and engagement with organized labour in prevention and resolution of disputes in addition to several other incentives and palliatives.

Recall that the PDP, through its National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, had slammed the Tinubu-led administration for allegedly withholding workers’ December salaries.
