Liverpool were in rampant form

Liverpool took a significant step towards their 20th Premier League title, thrashing Newcastle United 2-0 at Anfield to extend their lead to 13 points.

Goals from Dominik Szobozslai and Alexis Mac Allister sealed the victory, as the Reds capitalized on Arsenal’s slip-up against Nottingham Forest.

With this win, Liverpool have now lost just one league match this season, and their dominance shows no signs of fading.

Mohamed Salah, although denied a penalty claim, provided the assist for Mac Allister’s goal, highlighting his impressive form this season.

Newcastle, missing the injured Alexander Isak, struggled to contain Liverpool’s fluid attack.

Callum Wilson missed a crucial chance to equalize, and the visitors were eventually punished by Mac Allister’s clinical finish.

The win has sparked celebrations among Liverpool fans, who are now eagerly anticipating their team’s potential title triumph.

With their lead extending to 13 points, it seems increasingly likely that the Reds will claim their 20th Premier League title.
