Betta Edu: We Taught Them, But They Won’t Learn, Ministerial Retreat Moderator Replies Ex-Minister

Joe Abah, PhD, the man who moderated the three day ministerial retreat for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s cabinet on November 3, 2023, has stated that he is also at loss as to what President Bola Tinubu’s Ministers did with what he taught them at the retreat.

Dr Abah, governance expert made the retort in response to former Aviation Minister, Osita Chidoka’s yesterday comment on Betta Edu’s saga where he wondered if the ministers had learnt anything from their ministerial retreat last year.

“Noo, Honourable Minister Osita Chidoka, We told them everything at the retreat, o,” Abah said, infusing mock alarm.

“I moderated the whole of the first day and Mr President got a message across to me not to rush the sessions.

 

 

“We told them everything and didn’t finish until 8pm,” he added, leaving the hint that Edu and co mightn’t have learnt anything.

“See the first day agenda,” Abah stated on X, attaching copies of ministerial retreat programs to his response.

Suspended minister of the Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation has been under investigation for transferring money in excess of N500 million meant for vulnerable group in manners that suggests corrupt intent.

In a similar vain, Minister of Interior, Tunji Ojo, is equally under similar controversy but yet to be sanctioned.
