Breaking: Appeal Court Upholds APC/Fayemi’s Victory

The Election Petition Appeal Tribunal Sitting in Abuja has upheld the victory of Dr. Kayode Fayemi of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the last governorship election held in Ekiti .

A three-man panel of the court, in judgment a moment ago, dismissed the appeal by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate in the election, Kolapo Olusola, for lacking merit.

The Ekiti Election Tribunal had earlier delivered judgment on January 28 affirming the victory of Kayode Fayemi of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The anticipated judgement is following  the petition by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate in the election, Kolapo Olusola.

The appeal was heard on Monday and judgment reserved.
