BREAKING: IGP Redeploys Lagos Police Commissioner

The Inspector General Police, Ibrahim Kpotum Idris has ordered the redeployment of the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Mr. Imohimi Edgal.

According to information available to ElombahNews, Mr. Edgal was redeployed to the Force Headquarters in Abuja.

Meanwhile, Mr. Kayode Egbetokun has been ordered to take over from Mr Edgal as the state’s Acting Police Commissioner.

Mr. Egbetokun  was a former Chief Security Officer to a former governor of the state, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is currently the national leader of the All Progressives Congress [APC].

Egbetokun was Tinubu’s CSO for a few years before he became the commandant of Police Training School, Ikeja, Lagos.
