Sam Amadi, a former chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission and Arise TV analyst, has described president Muhammadu Buhari’s medical trip to the United Kingdom as incontrovertible evidence of failure of his administration.
News Band on Monday reports that the spokesman of the president, Femi Adesina twitted that his principal has embarked on a routine medical check-up to UK.
Part of the twit also said that the president will return to the country in the second week of November.
“President Buhari leaves for London October 31, 2022, for routine medical checkup. He returns to the country 2nd week of November, 2022″.
Meanwhile, Sam Amadi who berated the president in a statement said that it is pure shame that he will travel to another country for a routine medical check-up when the healthcare system in his country is in comatose.
The Arise TV analyst also took a sharp swipe at the media houses over the manner they churn out the news of the medical trip of the president to the United Kingdom not minding the crushing effect of the collapsed healthcare system in the country.
Amadi said, “It to so sad to say without any sense of shame that the President of Nigeria went on ROUTINE medical check in another country. It is an incontrovertible evidence of FAILURE. And our communication people don’t feel the crushing weight of despondency when they inform citizens with a collapsed healthcare that their BABA has gone to UK to run a check? Except it is not routine. But if it is routine, then it is more than disgraceful.
“God, please rebuke Satan for Nigeria. So, in 2023, we may continue this shameful official communication? Chai.”
President Muhammadu Buhari led administration has been tagged a ‘catastrophic failure’ after it failed in the last seven years to address sundry issues like corruption and medical tourism which have left the nation in tatters.
