Celebrity barman Okechukwu Pascal, popularly known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has accused Grammy award-winning artist Burna Boy of allegedly threatening his life and family.

Diaspora digital media (DDM) gathered that the accusation follows a video posted by Burna Boy, showing someone driving through Chiefpriest’s Ikoyi neighborhood, accompanied by an eye symbol, which many interpreted as a sign of surveillance.

Reacting to the video, Cubana Chiefpriest questioned Burna Boy’s intentions, asking if the singer planned to harm him or his family.

Chiefpriest described the act as childish and stated that the Nigerian Police had been informed of the situation.

He emphasized that any harm to his family would not go unanswered, warning that he was prepared to defend himself and his loved ones.

In a statement, Chiefpriest wrote,

“This is my neighborhood in Ikoyi.

“You drove past my house, recording with an eye symbol.

“Are you planning to shoot me or abduct my family? This is childish.”

He continued, “A dog that bites doesn’t bark.

“I’m an Aba boy, and we fight to the end.

“If you cross my lane, you will fall that day.

“Nothing should happen to my family.

“This is Ikoyi, not Ikate.

“The Nigerian Police already have the intel, and I’m ready.”

Meanwhile, Afrobeat artist Seun Kuti has distanced himself from the ongoing feud between Burna Boy and Speed Darlington.

The controversy began when Speed Darlington accused Burna Boy of having an illicit relationship with American music executive Diddy to win a Grammy.

During an Instagram live session, Kuti clarified that he had no involvement in the situation.

He stated that Burna Boy gifting him diamond jewelry did not make him the singer’s adviser or confidant.

Kuti also dismissed Darlington’s claims, reminding viewers that Diddy played a role in Speed Darlington’s rise to fame.

The feud between Burna Boy and other public figures continues to generate discussions online, with fans and critics closely following the developments.

Cubana Chiefpriest’s allegations and the involvement of law enforcement have added a serious dimension to the matter, raising concerns about the safety and well-being of those involved.
