The OurMumuDonDo Movement has discountenanced stories making rounds that it has sacked popular musician, Charles Oputa a.k.a. Charly Boy as its chairman.

OurMumuDonDo, OMUDODU for short, stated this categorically on Tuesday in a press statement issued in Abuja.

OMUDODU acknowledged that there is an ongoing rift tearing its leadership apart, involving activist, Comrade Deji Adeyanju, Publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, and a host of others.

The group, however, said that the allegations and counter-allegations leveled against Charly Boy by Comrade Adeyanju has no bearing on the activities on the activities of the movement.

Therefore, the group resolved to pledge loyalty to Mr. Oputa.
