Adrien Rabiot, a free agent midfielder, has made a U-turn and offered his services to a Premier League club he previously deemed “below his level.”

The 29-year-old French international is still without a club after leaving Juventus earlier this summer.

*Rabiot’s Change of Heart:

Rabiot had previously snubbed Tottenham Hotspur in 2019, but now seems willing to join the club.

Arsenal is also said to have been approached by Rabiot’s representatives.

The midfielder’s wage demands, reportedly around £220,000-a-week, have been a stumbling block for prospective clubs.

*Manchester United Interest:

Manchester United has also been linked to Rabiot, with reports suggesting the club was close to signing him in 2022 before negotiations broke down over personal terms.

Diaspora Digital Media understands that United manager Erik ten Hag has identified Rabiot as a potential target to strengthen his midfield.

*Rabiot’s Career:

Rabiot has played for Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus, winning five Ligue 1 titles and making 48 appearances for France.

He was part of the French team that played in Euro 2024.

*Transfer Saga:

Rabiot’s transfer saga has been ongoing, with interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia and Turkey. However, his preference is to sign with a top European league club. With the transfer window closing soon, Rabiot’s future remains uncertain.

*Wage Demands:

Rabiot’s wage demands have been a significant factor in his transfer negotiations.

His reported demands of £220,000-a-week are higher than Tottenham’s highest earner, Son Heung-min, who earns around £190,000-a-week.
