A politician and public affairs analyst, Prince Chukwudi Maduba (OluImo) has stated that Hon Eugene DIibiagwu’s mega Empowerment was a great triumph over Baseless Criticisms-.

Maduba stated this in a statement on 5th March 2025 which he released to the public.

He said: “In the face of Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu’s historical Mega Empowerment Program, the opposition has found itself grasping for straws, struggling to craft any meaningful criticism.

As they attempt to undermine the effectiveness and impact of this monumental initiative, it becomes increasingly apparent that their efforts are both ill-informed and devoid of substance.

In fact, one could argue that their criticisms have exposed a sudden lapse in their reasoning abilities, leaving them seemingly illiterate in their approach to judgment.

One of the most laughable and misguided assertions made by critics is that the Mega Empowerment Program is a form of political patronage.

This claim, on its surface, reveals the critics’ utter lack of understanding of the purpose and intent behind the program.

How can a politician offering tangible support and empowerment to the very people he represents be accused of engaging in political patronage?

The beneficiaries of Dibiagwu’s program are constituents—real, living human beings—sons and daughters of the same federal constituency.

To label such a program as patronage is a gross misunderstanding of both the concept and the service being provided. It’s perplexing to see critics, who claim to have reason, make such an ignorant statement.

Another absurd accusation making the rounds is the claim that Dibiagwu’s Mega Empowerment was only for party supporters and loyalists, not the broader constituency.

This statement is not only false but exposes the ignorance of those making it.

The Mega Empowerment Program was designed for all constituents, regardless of their party affiliation.

To create a false division between supporters and non-supporters within the same constituency is a blatant attempt to mislead the public.

The critics need to be reminded that constituents are not defined by party lines but by their shared identity as residents of the same federal constituency.

Perhaps a more thorough explanation on the difference between supporters and constituents is required, as some critics seem confused about the very notion.

It’s important to note that these criticisms are often rooted in malice, jealousy, and, frankly, a sense of frustration.

Many of the critics, judging by their own economic realities, are struggling to make ends meet.

It is no secret that some are so financially disadvantaged that they are unable to pay basic living expenses, like rent.

In this context, their criticisms seem less about the program itself and more about projecting their own poverty and inability to affect positive change.

It’s a sad state of affairs when critics, rather than focusing on the good being done for their community, choose to attack a well-meaning initiative driven by genuine intent.

What’s even more telling is the complete absence of any meaningful challenge to the Mega Empowerment Program. None of the critics have made any attempt to compare Dibiagwu’s efforts with those of previous lawmakers who represented the Ohaji/Egbema/Oguta/Oru West Federal Constituency, or with any current lawmakers in the Southeast.

The fact that such comparisons have not been made further solidifies the argument that Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu stands head and shoulders above his predecessors and contemporaries.

His track record of service to his constituents speaks for itself.

He has set a new standard of integrity, honesty, and commitment, making him the epitome of effective leadership in the region.

The Mega Empowerment Program sponsored by Hon. Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu is a testament to his unwavering dedication to the welfare of his constituents.

It stands as a historic achievement that continues to transform lives and communities for the better. The baseless criticisms from the opposition are nothing more than noise—an attempt to distract from the undeniable progress and success of this initiative.

It is clear that Dibiagwu’s leadership has ushered in a new era of progress for the Ohaji/Egbema/Oguta/Oru West Federal Constituency, and his critics, unable to challenge the substance of his work, have simply revealed their own inability to grasp the significance of his efforts” the statement read.

Recall that Hon Eugene Okechukwu Dibiagwu, the Honourable member representing the good people of OhajiEgbema, Oguta, and Oru West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives empowered his constituents on the 1st of March 2025.

Members of the opposition political parties are criticizing him for not carrying everybody along irrespective of political affiliations.
