Ekpa’s top ally, Gentle, threatens to kill Soludo

Gentle the Yahoo, real name Ifeanyi Okorienta, a top commander in Simon Ekpa’s Biafra Liberation Army, on Saturday, March 1, 2025, threatened to kill Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo.

Gentle delivered the message in a video posted on social media and filmed in a forest location.

The footage showed Gentle donning a military uniform, gripping an AK-47 rifle, and standing alongside heavily armed guards, with the BLA’s flag displayed against a forest backdrop.

Gentle responded to the ongoing crackdown on criminal activities by Operation Udo-Ga-Achi, a security initiative launched by the Anambra state government.

While brandishing a locally made rifle, he declared their readiness to confront the governor.

The commander accused Soludo of emulating Imo state Governor Hope Uzodimma, whom he alleged had accepted bribes from Fulani Jihadists to deceive the Igbos.

Also, he expressed frustration that  Boko Haram members and bandits were arrested, tried, and eventually released.

But Biafra separatists, who were fighting for their freedom, were killed mercilessly.

Further, he asserted that it was not Tinubu or his National Security Adviser causing trouble for the Igbos.

Rather, the South East governors and senators, he said, were the traitors.

“Soludo, now we find out that Tinubu and National Security Advisers are not the ones troubling Igbos.

“It is South East Governors and Senators.

“You people are fools.

“But there is no problem.

“We are getting ready for you people.

“Dig your grave because I am coming after you.

“Biafrans are coming after you.

“Soludo, keep on doing whatever you are doing.

“Biafrans are coming after you.

“Now you have collected the money.

“You want to give Anambra land to Islamic.

“You want to islamize our nation.

“Soludo, it can never work.

“Remember that Nigeria was never a nation.

“Soludo, you are dead already.

“Gentle is telling you this.

“I don’t have much to tell you.

“Go ahead and dig your grave because we are coming.

“We must come after you”, Gentle said.

Gentle speaks on Soludo’s alleged ban on Indecent Exposure

Meanwhile, reacting to the government’s alleged ban of indecent dressing, the commander made a disturbing accusation against Soludo’s children.

Gentle purported that the governor’s son was involved in criminal activities and his daughter was a prostitute.

“Soludo, remember that your first son is the highest criminal in this world.

“Your daughter is the highest prostitute in this life.

“Look at how foolish and selfish you are.

“You are moving around searching women that are wearing pants.

“Listen to yourself.

“Soludo, just watch what you are doing to yourself.

“Shame to you.

“Believe you me that I am coming after you”, he stated.

Gentle’s alleged arrest.

Moreover, in December 2024, Gentle was rumored to have been arrested after an Imo state joint team of security operatives raided his hideouts in Aku village, Okigwe Council Area of the state.

The operation was reportedly led by Brigadier General Usman Lawal, the Commander of the 34 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army, stationed in Obinze, Owerri.

During the raid on the hideouts, several shallow graves where the gang allegedly bury their victims were discovered.

However, in January 2025, a video surfaced showing Gentle feasting on a piece of chicken in his home while openly criticizing the government and its agents.

The footage was a bold display of his continued freedom and defiance, proving he had not been captured.

Gentle’s BLA

The Biafra Liberation Army (BLA), founded in October 2023 by Simon Ekpa, is a militant group that operates in Southeastern Nigeria.

The group’s main objective is to achieve independence for the Biafran people.
