Two male teachers at Ibru College, Agbarha-Otor, Delta State, were caught on camera on March 6, 2025, engaging in physical fight inside the staff room during school session.

The video of the two teachers fighting was shared on Facebook by one Nkeiru Udoh Ogosi.

It was captioned: “Two teachers fighting in Ibru College Agbara-Otor in Delta State.

“What a shameful act. I wonder what they are impacting on the children.”

The video which is circulating on the internet shows two male teachers, attacking each other while their colleagues, and students screamed and made frantic calls.

Also, students and other staff members were seen peering through the windows to witness the altercation.

Despite multiple attempts to separate them, the two male teachers continued their brawl.

The reason behind the altercation is yet to be established as at the moment of this publication.

Observers have condemned the teachers’ behavior, calling it an embarrassing display and unethical.

They say it a-is a poor example for students who look up to them for guidance and discipline.

While investigation is ongoing over the cause of the fight, it is noteworthy that fighting among teachers is considered a very serious case.

It is also adjudged a misconduct in the public service, which attract disciplinary actions.

More so, two teachers getting into a physical fight at school would likely result in severe disciplinary action from the school administration.

Actions may include potential suspension or termination of employment, and even legal repercussions depending on the severity of the altercation.

This could also trigger an investigation by the school district and potentially involve law enforcement depending on the circumstances.
