Evangelist Linda Paul Rika has sparked reactions online after claiming that she had a revelation in which she saw several prominent Nigerian pastors and ministers crying in hellfire.
Among those she named were Pastor Jerry Eze, Pastor Paul Enenche and his wife, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Bishop David Oyedepo and other prominent pastors from different racial backgrounds.
According to a report on the account, Rika shared the alleged experience during a church programme, where she described a scene she associated with divine judgement.
“I saw Pastor Jerry Eze, Pastor Paul Enenche and his Wife, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Pastor Oyedepo and other prominent pastors of different races crying in Hell fire,” she was quoted as saying.
Rika reportedly went on to describe what she claimed she saw concerning some of the named pastors. She alleged that Pastor Paul Enenche and his wife appeared in red clothing, while she claimed Enenche expressed regret over allowing worldly pressures, fame and other attractions to distract him from focusing on heaven.
She also claimed to have seen Bishop Oyedepo crying and Pastor Jerry Eze allegedly rolling on the ground and asking God for mercy.
According to the evangelist’s account, she also saw pastors of different races witnessing the judgement and becoming fearful about their own spiritual conditions.
Rika reportedly used the alleged revelation to emphasise her message about holiness, arguing that anointing and ministerial prominence alone do not guarantee salvation.
Her comments have generated considerable reactions online, particularly because of the high-profile names mentioned in the alleged vision.
However, the claims remain an account of Rika’s reported spiritual experience and have not been independently verified. The pastors named in the account have not, in the available report, publicly confirmed the alleged vision or its claims about them.
Rika is an evangelist with the Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide, a Christian ministry that identifies her as one of its evangelists. The ministry’s website also documents her testimony that she spent what she describes as six hours in hellfire before being restored by Jesus.
