The former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has evidently compared President Muhammadu Buhari to the giant Goliath, a Bible character that was killed by young David during battle with mere sling and stone.
Before David killed the giant, he had called him an “uncircumcised philistine” after he taunted the battle line of the God of Israel.
David then struck the Philistine with a stone right on the forehead and send the monolith of a man sprawling on the ground helplessly dead even before the battle began.
In two short essays personally made available to Elombah.com, Chief Fani-Kayode evidently referring to President Buhari asked: “Who Is This Uncircumcised Philistine?”
Fani Kayode presented the poser during a Believers Conference which held on 23rd September 2017.
He wrote:
“Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that has chosen to defy the armies of the Living God?
“You come against us with Fulani herdsmen, Boko Haram, Arewa Youths and your brutal army but we come against you in the name of the Lord of Hosts, the God of the Armies of Israel.
“Thy servant slew the lion and the bear and so it shall be for this uncircumcised Philistine that has chosen to defy the armies of the Living God.
“David had Prophet Samuel, Prophet Zadok and others.
“We have Prophet TB Joshua, Bishop Oyedepo and others. Our God is mighty in battle and He is doing a new thing! How can we lose?
“Once has it been written and twice has it been said that all power belongs to God and the heavens rule in the affairs of men.
“The children of darkness can NEVER overcome the children of light. The sons of slaves can NEVER overwhelm the sons of the Lord. The counsel of the ungodly can NEVER overrule the counsel of God.
“No matter what comes our way, no matter how many trials and tribulations we pass through and no matter how much pain we suffer, in the end we shall prevail.
“Sons and daughters of the realm be strong and let not this merciless tyrant and his minions and servants intimidate you.
“God’s hand and His love is upon us. We are more than conquerors.”
Speaking about his choice to fight the government of the day, he said “I torment those who abuse power”.
Continuing, he stated:
“I am a product of divine prophecy and a fulfilment of God’s promise. I am the axe that cuts down the evil tree.
“I am the wind that parts the dark waters. I am the shining light that resists the terrors of the night. I am the warrior that never falters or falls in battle.
“I hate injustice and oppression. I am the servant of truth, the voice of the voiceless and the champion of the oppressed.
“I am a King and the royal blood of the Holy One of Israel flows through my veins. I am a conqueror and the Holy Spirit of the Living God guides my steps.
“I am a deliverer and the Lord of Hosts emboldens my heart and sharpens my sword.
“I am a living manifestation of the grace of God. I am a beneficiary of His manifold blessings, His love, His kindness and His infinite patience and mercy.
“I am a favoured son of the Ancient of Days and it is my calling and destiny to effect His will.
“For this great commission He lifted me up and He forged me in fire. For this noble cause He taught my hands to fight and my fingers to war.
“I am a terror to tyrants and a friend to the subjugated.
“I torment those that abuse power and that visit evil upon the innocent. I am a shield to the weak, an inspiration to the despised and a comfort to the vulnerable.
“I am a scourge to great and mighty dictators. I am an adversary to men of blood and I am the defender of the righteous, the poor and the persecuted.
“I am Oluwafemi, the Beloved of the Lord, the champion of the Most High, the favoured of the King of Kings and the son of the Alpha and the Omega.
“I am FFK, the one whose hand is strong and mighty and whose angels wax strong in battle.
“I am the Odum-Agu of the south, the one who has the heart and strength of the lion and the courage and soul of the tiger.
“I am the Odogwu N’agha of Christiandom: the strange and mighty warrior who is covered by the blood of Jesus and who fears no adversary in battle.
“I am David, the anointed: a mighty Prince of the Kingdom.
“I am irrepressible, indestructible and unbeatable: none can stand against me. I am FFK: he that knows no fear and that bows before no man. [Ends]
Interestingly, President Buhari has always advocated and advanced the interests of the Palestinian nation, the same people known in Bible times as “Philistine”.
He has given supports in various manners to the Palestinians verbally, materially, and diplomatically.
In the just-concluded 72nd United Nations General Assembly, he was heard asking the world peace body to intervene and assure that that Palestines gain independence from the State of Israel.
Recently, the Christian Association of Nigeria raised alarm of Sukkuk bond contemplated by the Buhari-led federal government.
CAN said the bond is a ploy to sell Nigeria to the Islamic global community and islamise Nigeria in the long run.
CAN, just like Femi Fani-Kayode, has always been wary of Buhari’s policies, saying they are geared toward a sinister agenda to islamise Nigeria.
