Filmmaker, Peace Anyiam-Osigwe is dead

Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, Nigerian filmmaker and founder of the African Movie Academy Awards, is dead.

She reportedly died in a Lagos State hospital.

Ayiam-Osigwe who was also the president of the Association of Movie Producers was said to be in coma before her unfortunate death.

Her colleague, Obi Emelonye, confirmed her death via his official Instagram page on Tuesday.

He shared her picture and wrote, “Thank you and good night dada Peace. 🕯🕯🕯🕯”
