According to Daily Sports News, on October 12, Mr. Odegbami com informed di pipo say Mr. Fregene wey bi di former Naija goalkeeper, die afta him don Dey sick for long time now.

“Jus’ now, Fregene, di former goalkeeper for Naija’s Green Eagles, wey dey on life support for one week, don go meet him maker,” na so Odegbami com write.

“Di former goalkeeper die quietly, wia two of him pikin dem and him wife, Mr Tina Fregene dey around am,” na so Odegbami still talk.

Di former naija goalkeeper represent Naija for di 1968 Olympics for Mexico and him play well-well for di national team during 1960s and 70s.

Pipo know am rfor him sharp reflexes and him strength for goalpost.

Dat na why dem dey call am ‘Apo’.

Odegbami com tank everybody wey support di former player wen him dey sick.
