Golden Eaglets Coach Manu Garba Confident of Victory Against Togo

Golden Eaglets coach Manu Garba has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to secure a convincing win against Togo in their final Group B match at the WAFU B U17 Tourney in Accra today.
Despite a draw against Burkina Faso and a narrow win against Niger, Garba is optimistic about his team’s chances, particularly with the impressive form of teenage captain Cletus Simon.
Simon, a secondary school student, has been instrumental in the team’s success, with two Man of the Match awards to his name.
Garba describes him as a “soccer surgeon” with exceptional passing skills, peripheral vision, and game awareness.
While a draw would be enough to secure a semi-final spot, Garba is adamant that his team will go for a win against Togo.
He acknowledges that the Togolese team cannot be underestimated, despite their losses in the first two matches.
A win for Nigeria and a draw or defeat for Burkina Faso would see the Golden Eaglets top the group and avoid a semi-final clash with the in-form Black Starlets of Ghana.
