Gospel singer Timileyin Ajayi arrested for beheading girlfriend

Nigerian gospel singer Timileyin Ajayi from Kabba, Kogi State, has been arrested for allegedly killing his girlfriend, Eleojo Salome Adaidu.

The incident occurred on Sunday, January 12, in Abuja.

Diaspora Digital Media understands that Ajayi was caught with the severed head of his girlfriend, and he confessed that the rest of her body was still in his home.

The singer reportedly admitted to dating Adaidu for a year before the murder.

The police have taken Ajayi into custody, and an investigation is underway. The motive behind the gruesome murder is still unclear.

Adaidu was laid to rest on January 13, just a day after the murder.

The police have urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
