Ifeanyi Ubah Beats Andy Uba, Wins Anambra South Senatorial Election

The chairman of Capital Oil and Gas Limited, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah of Young Progressives Party [YPP] has emerged winner of the Anambra South Senatorial district election.

How they finished:

  • Ifeanyi Ubah                    YPP                       87,081 votes
  • Chris Uba                        PDP                       52,462
  • Andy Uba                        APC                       13,245
  • Nicholas Ukachukwu       APGA                    51,269.

Reacting to the development, Chief Chris Uba of PDP has concedes defeat and congratulated Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah of YPP.

Chief Chris Uba has taken to his Facebook wall to congratulate Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah for emerging victorious at the just concluded Anambra south senatorial election.

The Facebook page believed to belong to Chief Chris Uba also thanked his supporters for putting up a good fight.

He wrote: “We’ve fought a good fight, finished the race & kept the faith. Thank u all for ur support. Congrats Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah of YPP.”
