Just In: Gov Alia appoints Tuface as Special Adviser on entertainment and outreach

Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has on Wednesday April 23, 2025, appointed music legend, Innocent Idibia, also known as Tuface, as Special Adviser.

The appointment was announced on Wednesday during Tuface’s courtesy visit to the Government House in Makurdi.

According to reports, Tuface will serve as Special Adviser on Entertainment and Community Outreach in the Alia-led administration.

Tuface visited the governor alongside his wife, Natasha, and members of his delegation.

Governor Alia commended Tuface for his impact on the entertainment industry and his positive image for Benue State.

“You support my administration and help project it positively,” Alia told the award-winning musician during the visit.

He said Tuface’s name brings joy, and his music makes people dance even before it plays.

Alia praised Tuface’s humility, global influence, and deep connection with Benue communities.

“Benue is proud of you, and we entrust you with greater responsibility,” the governor stated.

He announced Tuface’s official role as Technical Adviser on Entertainment and Community Outreach.

Alia expressed confidence that Tuface would use his influence to support social development in the state.

Tuface, a native of Benue, has long advocated for youth empowerment and peaceful coexistence in Nigeria.
