JUST IN: Nigerian billionaire & founder of Cutix Cables, Uzodike, dies

Chief Gilbert Obiajulu Uzodike

Nnewi-born Nigeria billionaire and industrialist, Chief Gilbert Obiajulu Uzodike, is dead.

Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) learnt that Chief Uzodike died in the early hours of Friday, June 07, 2024.

Uzodike, it could be recalled, is the founder of Cutix Cables Plc.

He was also the founder of defunct Adtec Limited and Adswitch Plc.

On its part, Cutix cable is a renowned manufacturer and supplier of house wiring cables, aluminum conductors, copper conductors, aluminum service cables, automotive cables, appliance cables, low voltage power cables and solar cables.

When contacted, a source close to the family confirmed same to DDM, saying “he died today but the family is yet to make it public.

“I’ll let you know as soon as there is update,” he added.
