Mr. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the last election is currently in a closed door meeting with Bauchi State governor, Mohammed Bala.
The Deputy Governor, Mohammed Auwal Jatau, welcomed the former governor of Anambra State at the Bauchi airport around 10am, after which he proceeded to the Government House for discussions with the governor.
At the time of filing this report, details of their meeting remain undisclosed, but the visit has sparked political speculations, with many wondering if it signals a potential collaboration or realignment ahead of the 2027 elections.
