There could be light at the end of the tunnel for the embattled leader of the proscribed Indigenous People Of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu as the Southeast Governors’ forum has revealed plan to meet with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to seek for his release.
This was disclosed after their meeting in Enugu State.
Governor Hope Uzodinma, the chairman of the Southeast Governors’ Forum while reading the communique of the meeting said in the planned visit to President Tinubu, the Forum will discuss the insecurity in the region and the release of Nnamdi Kanu.
“The forum deliberated on the review of the report of south east security summit held in September 2023 and agreed to implement the aspect pertaining to the security and economic
degradation of the region.”
