Like Ex-CBN Governor Emefiele, Former President Buhari, Malami, ‘Tunde’ Sabiu Should Be Arrested, Face The Law For Money Laundering – Sowore

Human rights activist and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2019 and 2023 general elections, Omoyele Sowore, has said that like the former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, former President Muhammadu Buhari, former Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, and Buhari’s “nephew” Tunde Sabiu, should be arrested and made to face the wrath of the law for money laundering.
Sowore said that Buhari’s administration protected Emefiele because he was doing their bidding but the embattled former CBN Governor had been left to become the fall person, adding that meanwhile Buhari and Malami were walking freely.
According to the convener of #RevolutionNow, Sabiu opened an airline and owns the biggest oil haulage ship based in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria, while the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) told President Tinubu last week that Malami stole so much money that the investigator found overwhelming.
Sowore, who said this in a post on his X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday wrote, “They protected this crook because he was doing their bidding, today, he’s left to become the fall guy, Tunde Sabiu opened an airline.
“He owns the biggest oil haulage ship based in the Niger Delta region. The @officialEFCC even told @officialabat last week Wednesday that former AGF Abubakar Malami stole so much that even a rookie investigator found so much money he laundered they are overwhelmed.
“Sad part is that these guys would all get away with the unprecedented fraud they perpetrated with ex-crook, former President munafikin @MBuhari.
“Buhari should have been arrested by now, if we were lucky enough to have a country.”
