Bayern Munich and England superstar Harry Kane has reportedly expressed his desire to return to the Premier League—with Liverpool now leading the race for his signature.

According to multiple sources, the lethal striker informed his England teammates during the recent international break that he is keen on a move back to his homeland.

While a return to former club Tottenham seems unlikely, reports claim that Liverpool are preparing a major push to bring Kane to Anfield.

Why Liverpool?
The Reds are believed to be ready to offload Darwin Núñez this summer, freeing up both funds and a key attacking role.

Despite flashes of brilliance, Núñez has struggled with consistency, and manager Arne Slot sees Kane as the elite finisher needed to ease the goal burden on Mohammed Salah.

Kane has been in sensational form for Bayern Munich.

The Harry Kane career file

Born on July 28, 1993, in Walthamstow, London, Kane has established himself as one of the most prolific strikers in modern football.

His professional journey began at Tottenham Hotspur, where he joined the youth academy in 2009.

He gradually rose through the ranks, making his debut for the senior team in 2014.

During his nine-year tenure at Tottenham, Kane amassed an impressive 213 goals in 412 appearances, cementing his status as the club’s all-time leading scorer.

In addition to his success at Tottenham, Kane has also had brief stints on loan at Leicester City and Norwich City.

However, it was his transfer to Bayern Munich in 2023 that marked a significant milestone in his career.
