Liverpool FC has secured a major coup with the signing of Juventus winger Federico Chiesa.

The Reds have agreed to a deal worth £12.5 million, comprising an initial £10 million fee and £2.5 million in add-ons.

Chiesa, 26, will undergo a medical on Merseyside before completing his move to Anfield.

The Italy international has been a long-term target for Liverpool, and his arrival marks a significant boost to Jurgen Klopp’s squad.

The deal represents a remarkable piece of business for Liverpool, considering Chiesa’s valuation was £100 million just three years ago.

Juventus’s financial struggles and Chiesa’s desire for a new challenge have contributed to the reduced fee.

Chiesa brings pace, skill, and versatility to Liverpool’s attack, capable of playing on either flank or as a center-forward.

His experience in Serie A and international football will be invaluable as Liverpool set sights on the Premier League title and make an impressive run in the Champions League.

Chiesa’s arrival is expected to spark competition among Liverpool’s attacking players, pushing the likes of Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo, Darwin Nunez, and Diogo Jota to new heights.

Chiesa can play as both a left or right winger and as a striker.

The transfer window has seen Liverpool invest wisely, and Chiesa’s signing is a testament to the club’s ambition and ability to attract top talent.
