Man United stun City, win 13th FA Cup
Manchester United have secured its 13th FA Cup title with a 2-1 win over Manchester City in the final match at Wembley Stadium.
The team took an early lead with two goals in the first half, scored by Jarnacho and Kobe Maino, before Jeremy Doku scored a late goal for City in the 87th minute.
The match began with a calm start, but United took the lead in the 30th minute when Jarnacho capitalized on a mistake by Guardiol, scoring into an empty goal.
Maino doubled the lead with a ground cross from Fernandez, which Ortega was unable to stop.
Despite City’s efforts, including a shot from Haaland that hit the crossbar and a long-range missile from Walker that was blocked by Onana, United maintained their lead until the final minutes. Doku’s shot from outside the penalty area slipped past Onana’s hand and into the net, giving City a glimmer of hope.
However, United held on to secure the win, with Fernandez attempting a long-distance shot that went wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, confirming Manchester United’s FA Cup victory.
This win marks a significant achievement for Manchester United, saving their season with a major trophy. The team’s performance and determination earned them the coveted title, solidifying their position in English football history.
