Reports reaching us have it that Manchester United are said to have completed a whopping £62m move for Nigerian star and former African Footballer of the year Victor Osimhen.

Victor Osihmen who is currently on a loan deal from Napoli to Galatasaray, seems to have won the hearts of Manchester United Manager Reuben Amorim.

The Red Devils – who have not had a good campaign in the EPL so far this season, are only in the running for winning a silverware this season, with their hopes on either the Europa League or the FA Cup.The team had sacked former Manager Erik ten Hag sacked back in October due to poor run of results from the club.

The new Manager Ruben Amorim has not found it any easier since he took up the job as Manchester United’s new Manager. Amorim has struggled to find a winning strategy from the Red Devils, with strikers and new signings Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee scoring just five Premier League goals between them this season..

Amorim’s formation of 3-4-2-1  doesn’t have the capabilities to deliver the successes in the way they need at present. Manchester United has always had problems in the final third, in their games, as evident in their last Premiership game against Everton. But new signing from Lecce, and 20 year old Danish defender, Patrick Dorgu gave fans something to hope for in no distant time this season.

The Red Devils also seem to lack creativity in the midfield as Bruno Fernandez would always struggle in the absence of Kobbie Mainoo.

But goals remain the biggest problem. According to reports, the Red Devils have completed a high profile deal to land Napoli forward Osimhen in the summer.

Osimhen is likely to become available in the summer. The 26-year-old Nigerian forward is currently on loan at Galatasaray and has scored 20 goals in 26 games so far this sesason.
