Former Lagos socialite Mandy Kiss has opened up about returning to her family home in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, revealing that she is now focused on starting a new chapter and learning from the mistakes she made in the past.
Mandy, who shared the update in a video posted on her TikTok page, said she had returned to her mother’s shop in Ijebu Ode as she works toward rebuilding her life.
According to her, she understands that people may mock her over her decision or the changes in her life, but she is not allowing public opinion to prevent her from moving forward.
“I later came back to my mummy’s shop, later came back to Ijebu Ode. I am not saying you shouldn’t mock me, you are free to mock me. It is my fault but learn from my own mistake,” she said.
Mandy also encouraged her followers not to allow the opinions of other people to determine how they live their lives. She urged them to focus on their own happiness and make decisions that work for them.
“It is your life so do you. Don’t live on other people’s opinion, your happiness should come first in whatever you are doing,” she advised.
The former socialite further encouraged people to pursue what makes them happy rather than constantly worrying about how others perceive them.
“Do whatever makes you happy and live your life,” she said.
Mandy also revealed that she has been welcomed back into her family and attributed the acceptance to the way she takes care of them.
“I am accepted back at home now because of how well I take care of them,” she added.
