The Minister of Finance, Zainab Ahmed has kicked against the new policy of Central Bank of Nigeria to redesign the country’s currency from N200 denomination to N1000 notes.
The Minister made this known while responding to question from the Senate Committee on Finance during the budget defence over the new policy.
She said that the Ministry only aware of the policy in the media warning the Apex bank the consequences of the policy.
