Spanish La Liga side Sevilla FC has announced the signing of Nigerian international Chidera Ejuke from CSKA Moscow.

The 25-year-old forward has penned a four-year deal with the Andalusian club, pending a successful medical.

Ejuke’s move to Sevilla marks a significant milestone in his career, following impressive stints in Russia and the Netherlands.

The pacey attacker has scored 34 goals in 104 appearances for CSKA Moscow and has also represented the Super Eagles in several international fixtures.

Sevilla’s sporting director, Monchi, expressed delight at the signing, praising Ejuke’s speed, skill, and goal-scoring ability. “Chidera is a talented player who will bring a new dimension to our attack,” Monchi said.

Ejuke’s arrival at Sevilla is expected to bolster the team’s offensive options, as they seek to improve on last season’s sixth-place finish in La Liga.

The Nigerian forward is expected to join his new teammates in the coming days, ahead of the upcoming season.

Ejuke looks set to be recalled by the yet to be announced Super Eagles Coach following the recent resignation of Coach Finidi George who came under fire for the team’s poor showing in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.
