Nigeria’s Appeal Court upholds Abure as Labour Party’s National Chairman

In a landmark ruling, the Court of Appeal sitting in Benin, Edo State, Southern Nigeria, has reaffirmed Barrister Julius Abure as the authentic National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP) in Nigeria.
This verdict brings clarity to the party’s leadership structure, quashing any doubts or controversies surrounding Abure’s position.
The Labour Party has seized this opportunity to rally its members, urging them to stand firm in supporting the party’s leadership across various states.
In a statement signed by Barr Agbo Casmir Uchenna, Chairman LP Enugu State, for Chief Obiora Ifoh, National Publicity Secretary LP, the party emphasized the importance of unity and loyalty.
Members are encouraged to demonstrate their commitment by paying the mandatory monthly dues of 200 naira, as stipulated in the party’s constitution.
The party’s leadership has also issued a stern warning against any acts of disobedience or insubordination, reiterating its zero-tolerance policy for such behavior.
This firm stance aims to maintain discipline and cohesion within the party ranks.
