NNPC hikes petrol pump price

Published

on

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has increased the pump price of petrol at its retail stations.

The price has been increased to ₦955 per litre in Abuja and surrounding areas, a ₦65 increase from the previous price of ₦890 per litre.

A price survey revealed variations in prices across different NNPCL outlets in Abuja, with some stations selling fuel at ₦850, ₦920, and others at ₦955.

NNPCL has not released any statement on the increment as of the time of filing the report.

The decision follows an upward review of the ex-depot petrol price by Dangote Refinery to ₦858 per litre, up from ₦820.
